Very well organised, showing us some real highlights of India. The tone of the tour was set when we arrived at Heathrow early and found Richie waiting for us. Our Indian guide, Sanjay, was amusing and informative.

5 * +. It was a fantastic holiday even for me at age 86 .some of the events were not quite suitable for me but it was not a problem . The places we visited, the hotels we stayed in , the tour guide Sanjay ..all were way above what l expected ..absolutely fantastic holiday. I cannot not mention Richie out tour manager. He was dedicated to his job and always available to sort out problems which l don't think there were any. A holiday l shall always remember and if you get the opportunity to go ..then go and see for yourself. You will never regret it. I am going back again to India for the third time ( if l live that long)

This was our first visit to India and I am so glad we booked it with The Great Rail Journeys. All the hotels and places we visited were amazing, with a great selection of food. The service in each hotel was impeccable, and they can’t do enough for you. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable in each location we visited, and answered numerous questions.

Extremely well organised tour - packed itinerary that was both interesting and informative. Our guides and driver - Stuart, Raaj, Ganesh and Mr Singh - were fabulous. Group size was perfect. My only criticism is the number of ‘emporiums’ we visited - although the good toilet facilities at the venues made up in some way for the visits. Would book with Great Rail Journeys again. Loved it!
